ANNUAL INHOPE MEETING 2018 in CRETE

Presentation of the annual report

Since 2008 the BEE SECURE Stopline is a member of the INHOPE network. INHOPE is the global umbrella organization uniting National Internet hotlines engaged in combating CSAM (child sexual abuse material), thus allowing an international exchange of experience and an international cooperation in combatting sexual abuse of minors.
In June, the BEE SECURE Stopline took part in the annual international meeting of the INHOPE network in Crete. During the conference the main topic was the “Dark Web” along with technical possibilities of combatting CSAM, e.g. “Crawling Software”. New board members have been voted and the annual report 2017 has been presented. It presents statistics as well as information about INHOPE, its member, the work of the INHOPE network and explains main terms of the hotline work.

QUALITY ASSESSMENT REVIEW 2018

On 6th  and 7th August, Agnese Krike, INHOPE’s external evaluator visited (KJT) Kanner -Jugendtelefon and conducted a Quality Assurance Review of the BEE SECURE Stopline. In the context of the quality assessment, a stakeholder meeting took place. (National Police, the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights and the coordinator of BEE SECURE.)
